If you want to improve the appearance of skin texture, pigmentation, acne scarring, fine lines and uneven skin tone, you'll love Microdermabrasion!
This treatment increases micro-circulation, bringing nutrients to the skin and greatly improves the appearance of all imperfections. It is a non-surgical exfoliation technique that helps to improve irregularities on the surface of the skin by buffing away the surface layer to reduce fine lines, pigmentation marks and shallow acne scars. The process also accelerates the regeneration of new skin cells, stimulates the production of collagen and strengthens elastin; effectively plumping the skin out and revealing fresher, healthier and younger looking skin.
While the results of the treatment differs from client to client, Microdermabrasion is not suitable if you have fine, sensitive skin.
You must avoid waxing the two days prior to your treatment and five days after.
Strongly advise against the use of sun beds and swimming in heavily chlorinated water for at least two weeks post-treatment.
If you have broken capillaries or active breakouts microdermabrasion is not suitable however we can discuss other alternative options to help strengthen, repair and calm your skin.
Do not use Retin-A or other exfoliating creams 72 hours (3 days) prior to your treatment.
Avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least a week before treatment
You must not have recently had laser surgery. Candidates who have had a recent chemical peel or other skin procedure, such as collagen injections, need to wait two to three weeks before undergoing microdermabrasion.
Cleanse your face and neck with a non-oily, non-soap based cleanser before each scheduled treatment.
Microdermabrasion can not be performed on those with skin conditions such as rosacea, sensitivity, eczema, dermatitis, active sunburn, herpes, lupus, open sores, psoriasis, fragile capillaries or widespread active acne.
